Barges documented include: Ardwina, Falconet, Ena, Gipping, Lyford Anna (ex-Cereal), Raybel, Gladys, Doris, Vigilant, Ironsides, Will, Denic, Dorabella, and more.
Locations featured: Ipswich, Upnor, Maldon, Pin Mill, Faversham, Whitstable, Portsmouth (Festival of the Sea, August 1998), Battlesbridge, St Katharine Docks (London), and various Thames Estuary and East Coast ports.
Photographs span approximately fifty years, capturing these vessels in working trade, as houseboats, under restoration, at rallies and regattas, and in some cases in their final resting places. Several images appear to be taken by or credited to the compiler (initialled C.L.C.).
